TERRIFIC TURNOUT AT SAM SNEAD'S LUNCHEON

As predicted there was a large turnout for this month's Verona Walk Gentlemen's Lunch. The count was fifty-three.

The event held "Always on the First Wednesday of the Month" saw fifty men walk through the door. The were treated to their very own St Paddy's Day, and most of the Gentlemen were dressed in Irish Green.

The agenda was well planned as usual and covered various subjects that assured all in attendance a great time.

The highlight of the day was a presentation of an old Irish Song by the talented "Jersey Joe" who is a member of this elite lunch group. He brought tears to our reporters eyes. They were green tears too. That is Joe and our Reporter pictured above. Click below to hear Joe's song selection. This old version is by Ray Price and was done  forty plus years ago. While Ray Price used a backup band Jersey Joe just sang it from the heart. Enjoy this version as we do not have Joe's copy:

Next month (April) the Gentlemen will be visiting another local restaurant and have been promised Prime Rib. Look for the announcement.
