The "post below" was one of the first published on this blog. It (the blog) will soon be five years old. We will take a peek at our history with this initial story, and a couple more 'oldies' during 2013.
Note the original picture using the Kodak Brownie 120 (not really).
The "Old Guy" now has a better camera, and has been using it to promote a sense of community through sharing photos with friends and neighbors on this blog.
We still like the last sentence of the original story as it still holds true today. (Read Reprint below):
"This is the gate to our paradise. Roughly 1200 (Now 1600) Home Owners live here. For the most part it is a good experience to go through this gate. Straight ahead is Town Center. This is the hub of our community. It is surrounded on all sides by what we call "home." We are all neighbors, but that doesn't mean we all know each other. The great thing is we are working on it."
