It wasn't exactly Valentines Day, but all went well with Thursday's event. Everyone was on time, which was a good sign.
The VeronaWalk Gentlemen planned their annual lunch with the wives or significant other as close to Valentines Day as possible. They cut it close, but managed to stay within the month. That's how men do things. They Guy's were smart enough to get the Ladies Group (J.U.L.S.) to help, and with that, a successful day was assured.
Thanks to the wonderful staff at Carrabbas all went as planned They treated everyone to a nice salad, followed by three entree choices and dessert.
There were 50 couples in attendance. That is the record for any VW Lunch Group. Already there is talk of doing it again next year.
