GOOD SHOWING AT PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

An Amateur Photography Contest was offered this year at Town Center. There were three categories: Wildlife-Pets, Landscape and Verona Walk. 

The showing of all pictures was on Friday March 1. A resident professional photographer, Capt. Mc Donald, served as the judge and did a fine job. He is pictured below:

 

In the  Landscape Category he selected a picture from Wales. It was taken by Bonnie Goeske.

Bonnie appears below holding her first place picture and a huge smile.

Our good friend Jeannie Condle, who never leaves home without her Nikon Camera also did quite well. We know she is quite happy with her photo of her little dog. She also did very well (First place) in the category of "VeronaWalk"  Her pictures are below:

The "Old Guy", who takes a lot of pictures for this blog also entered this contest and got "Honorable Mention" in two categories. Obviously that made him quite pleased with himself. His pictures are below:

 
We hope the activities office does a repeat on this contest next year. We know several people out right now buying film to take   pictures to enter in the 2014 contest.
