HAVE A LAUGH

A good Neighbor sent this over for everyone to enjoy. We hope it makes you laugh.

A farmer named Clyde had a car accident. In court, the trucking
company's fancy lawyer was questioning Clyde ..

"Didn't you say, at the scene of the accident, 'I'm fine,'?"
asked the lawyer.

Clyde responded, "Well, I'll tell you what happened... I had
just loaded my favorite mule, Bessie..."

"I didn't ask for any details", the lawyer interrupted. "Just answer the question. Did you not say, at the scene of the accident, 'I'm fine!'?"

Clyde said, "Well, I had just got Bessie into the trailer and
I was driving down the road....."

The lawyer interrupted again and said, "Judge, I am trying to establish the fact that, at the scene of the accident, this man told the Highway Patrolman on the scene that he was just fine. Now several weeks after the accident he is trying to sue my client. I believe he is a fraud.

Please tell him to simply answer the question."

By this time, the Judge was fairly interested in Clyde 's answer and said to the lawyer, "I'd like to hear what he has to say
about his favorite mule, Bessie".

Clyde thanked the Judge and proceeded.

"Well as I was saying, I had just loaded Bessie, my favorite
mule, into the trailer and was driving her down the highway
when this huge semi-truck and trailer ran the stop sign and smacked my truck right in the side. I was thrown into one
ditch and Bessie was thrown into the other. I was hurting,
real bad and didn't want to move. However, I could hear ole Bessie moaning and groaning. I knew she was in terrible
shape just by her groans. Shortly after the accident a
Highway Patrolman came on the scene. He could hear Bessie moaning and groaning so he went over to her. After he
looked at her, and saw her fatal condition, he took out his
gun and shot her between the eyes..

Then the Patrolman came across the road, gun still in hand, looked at me and said, "How are you feeling?"
"Now what the hell would you say?"

VALENTINA CT NEIGHBORS RIDE SEMINOLE TRAIN

MURDER on the rails.

Murder Mystery that is, and it took place on the Seminole Murder Mystery Dinner Train in Ft. Myers on Wednesday, July 22.

Neighbors from Valentina Ct, along with friends, journeyed to Ft. Myers. There we boarded the old train for dinner and mystery. The performers were dressed in vivid colors and thrilled the audience with their show.

As you can see pictures were not only allowed during the show, but afterwards they posed outside the train.

ICE CREAM TIME

Sunday night was Ice Cream Night at Town Center.

My Lady dragged me out for some Ice Cream at the meeting spot by the lake. This was not a bad deal. A nice serving of the chocolate treat cooled me off quite well.

Of course there was a great collection of friends and neighbors present. They added good conversation which made this another great event.

POOL PARTY AT TOWN CENTER

A pool party!!! What a great way to get out of the house. That is what we did on Saturday. And it was a good time with friends and neighbors.

Hamburgers or hot dogs comprised the the menu, and that was plenty.

Neighbors gathered on the deck, in small groups, and enjoyed each other's company. We also listened to a great selection of tunes. At the end of the day we all played a game of trivia. Winners went home with either a pair if wine glasses or a shirt.

SEA WORLD

The Disney travelers finally got out of their "rut" of always going to visit Mickey Mouse. Well almost anyway.

Because of special occasions (birthday and anniversary) they decided on something different...really different. The drove to "Mouseland" and stayed there for a few nights, but during the day the traveled to "Shamuland" to see the Whale. We got so close we could count the whales teeth.

Sea World, was only a few miles from Disney, and did provide "something different." The Lady loves the animals and sea creatures. She certainly saw plenty, but was quite reluctant to let "The Manta" take her for a little spin.

At days end it was very nice to retreat "home" to Disney, having had a full day of fun, fun, fun.

THE LADY HAS ANOTHER BIRTHDAY

Seven-eleven seems to have the ring of something special. It is "My Lady's" Birthday.

I can't say how old she is, but she acts like a kid so she must be around 25, or in that neighborhood. I count wrong so I don't get hurt.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY young lady.

FORTY - TWO

Forty-two years! That's right. These V.W. Residents have hit their 42nd anniversary.

Just like their original honeymoon they plan to go to Florida.

Sea World is the destination this time for these nomads who are always going somewhere. They hope to get close to the dolphins, and see Shamu make a big splash.

STARS AND STRIPES

It wouldn't have been a holiday without a seven dollar dance. The theme for the most recent event was "Stars and Stripes."

There were almost 100 patriots in attendance. It was really a great scene with red, white and blue decorations. Of course the colors were also displayed via shirts, hats, and other articles of clothing.

The group was able to do some "R & R" at the tables where they enjoyed entertainment, a 50/50, and neighborly talk. It all added up to another great night.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Today is July fourth. Funny how over the years people think that the holiday is just the 4th of July without any reference or idea of what they are celebrating.

The Holiday means more than hot dogs, burgers and a beer, although these items do tend to make the day good. That's something to warrant our thanks.

We need to also take a minute and be thankful for our own independence as a country. Had our Founding Fathers not been successful in establishing our own independent state we might still be honoring The Queen, and having no reason for "dogs and brew."

JULY'S BIRTHDAYS & ANNIVERSARIES

We note a couple of important dates that will be addressed in full later. For now we see one little girl's birthday, an older cutie's birthdate and a wedding anniversary. Look for details on "Their Special Dates."
