This news is in from our "Safety Team". They advised that major crime in our area is down 12% from last year. That has continued a downward trend that has resulted in a 62% decrease in major crime for this decade.
Burglaries, however have remained at a constant level the last two years. That means each of us needs to do his/her part to keep ourselves safe, while also thanking our Sheriff's Deputies for doing a good job.
