SHARK VALLEY

A few days ago we took an afternoon trip to Shark Valley.  It was a comfortable day,  but the place seemed almost all dried up.

We went with neighbors and took the afternoon tram back to the tower. The search was on for wild life.

The birds seemed to have taken the afternoon off, but alligators were sleeping just inches from our toes. When we got to close, one sleeping beauty woke with his jaws snapping at anything around him. That was worth a couple steps back.

Near the end of the tram tour some birds seemed to return for the night. We got a few pictures to share here including one of a Hawk. He seemed like a dot on the tree top, but that great new lens sure brought him home.

Enjoy the pictures and take the trip yourself to Shark Valley.

This is my Hawk. He looks great and seems to like the sun beating on him. From that perch he has a fabulous view of the flat land that surrounds him.

Here are some of the other birds and gators that we played with on our our day to  Shark Valley.

Swimming in "V" formation these fish just might be the bottom of the food chain here in the Valley. Swim fast guys !
