Along with a neighbor we enjoyed a nice get away to Ft. Lauderdale this past weekend. While we enjoyed lunch at "The Oasis," with its view of the beach, the highlight of the trip was the evening cruise on the Jungle Queen - www.junglequeen.com
The boat left at 6:00PM and went through "millionaires row." The double deck boat also cruised by the shopping area near Las Olas Blvd, which is a real nice place to walk.
Eventually "The Queen" landed at a special Island. There the guys' were treated to an all you can eat meal that included ribs and shrimp.
Following the meal there was show which featured a juggler and a ventriloquist. There were lots of laughs, and the trip was indeed a good "get away." You guys up North, in NJ, ought to try this when you make your annual visit! You can drive too !!
