Wednesday the 16th was a great day. Several couples left our community for a short ride up I-75 to Bonita Springs. There we all followed the signs to the Greyhound Race Track.
Once there we we directed to the Club House where we overlooked the finish line. Directly behind us was a "service area" where we could say good bye to two bucks for every race. There were fourteen races on the agenda for the afternoon.
Our meal was included along with a program to help select the winners. This was a fun day, and most of us will remember that call over the loud speaker: "There's Sparky (the wonder rabbit)." That guy won every race!
