V.W. Resident got some more information regarding the "tax bill." The last date to file an appeal is September 12.
The County Tax Assessor has forms and instructions at both the office and the web. There is a charge of $15 and the burden of proof is with the homeowner. Only sales figures from the year 2007 may be used when one is looking for an adjustment.
