A new FEMA Map was released in mid June. It showed, by street address, that property was which has been placed in a favorable zone for flood insurance purposes. An internet address to view street listings is below:
It has been reported that on some streets a lot may be in the favorable area, while the second lot is simply not mentioned. This is causing some concern.
People who contracted with Marco Surveying and Mapping have been advised that the job is incomplete. It should take another three weeks to get FEMA to update and include everyone in the favorable area.
