While most people in the community were bored this Sunday afternoon especially with no more football, we gathered with a few neighbors to have a wild Street Party.
Our gang gathered in the driveway at 8007. The owner of the property responded to our request to use his location. We also got him to give us water and electric to meet our needs. Maybe he was afraid to say "No", but then again Who cares. The goal was to have a fun time and that we did.
While our party started at 1:00 PM, it was assumed to be 5:00PM somewhere so we let the liquid spirits prime us for good food and conversations. A couple of neighbors held hands and tried to sang "Kumbaya." to the delight of the our socially well adjusted fun seekers. This is a fun group and we had a good time. That is all that counts.
