REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR

Dec. 7, 1941 - "The day that shall live in infamy."

Those were the words of F.D.R. to the American people following the attack on our Naval Base in Hawaii. The Japanese sneak attack brought us into World War II.

Most of us were kids or not even born when this event took place, but we sure learned about. If not the lectures from our history teachers, it was the stories (or lack of stories) from our Father's, Uncles and neighbors, about this terrible day. The family recalls that "Mom's" father sepent 20 or so days in a life boat fighting in the Atlantic several months later.

Dec. 7, 1941 is an important date. It calls for a moment of silence, and reflection.
