Saturday (Jan. 19) We took part in the Activities Department's Benefit Dinner. After all it included Spaghetti Dinner - with Two Meatball's !
The room was packed. There were nineteen tables, and little room to walk, but who cares.
The dance floor was also crowded but the live entertainment included not only music, but a "Balloon Art" Act. The talented young balloonist went to every table and turned his balloons into small and large items for residents to enjoy.
Our gang managed to stay awake to just around 9:00 PM before heading back to our Castles. Of course we cleaned up before leaving, and even returned the real silverware.
We are sure the Activities Office did quite well with the cash. More important The Office observed, by number count, just how much the community supports the fine job that is being done for us on a daily basis.
