Despite heavy competition from the football games on TV several neighbors, on Valentina Ct, gathered for a wine and cheese party January 1 to celebrate the New Year.
Twenty-six people gathered at the Cul-de-Sac. With pleasant conversations running constantly, it was hard to get at the wonderful selection of wines and cheeses. While there was plenty of laughter the group stayed just within the limits of allowable noise at all times.
A major focus of the talk was the beautiful Greyhound that was recently rescued by neighbors. A couple of people even volunteered to walk him. Others were wondering about racing. In any event he was a true celebrity on Jan 1st.
