When we arrived I noticed the parking lot was empty so I figured there would not be a lot of people clogging up the aisle. Well it took just a few steps and I saw the line at Costco's front door waiting to enter at 7:00 PM while I was looking at the line I nearly got hit by this old fire engine pictured below.
I now understood that this was an exhibit by the local Sheriff and Fire Dept. They brought out everyone including SWAT. There was a robot employed by the Bomb Squad. It was neat but prevented Costco from having a . The robot is pictured below with the nice D.A.R.E. Police Car.
Above is a picture of the "Old Guy" and the young Lady who supervised the CSI exhibit. This was very informative. I was happy that the bones on the table were not mine. Mine are still as pictured with the representative from the Sheriff's Office.
An exhibit that caught my eye was the "9-11 Memorial." Apparently the County is building Freedom Memorial, and had a Naples man design it. As I looked at it I observed a couple of picture displays of those who lost their lives that day. I never thought I would be going through something like them to see someone I knew. I don't need the brick to remember, but the one below will be part of the permanent Memorial that I want to see.
Time eventually got to me so I drove on out there with some nice memories and pictures. Check them out below, and note that is not my little car.
