HAVE A LAUGH

A Lady in the community sent this to us. When it was read we thought it was true. Enjoy it.  ...   ...   ...  ...

A few days ago I was having some work done at my local garage.

A blond came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten.

We all looked at each other and another customer asked,

'What is a seven-hundred- ten?'

She replied, 'You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine,
I have lost it and need a new one..'

She replied that she did not know exactly what it was, but this piece had always been there.

The mechanic gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like.

She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710.

He then took her over to a car just like hers which had its hood up and asked, 'Is there a 710 on this car?'.

She pointed and said, 'Of course, its right there.'

The mechanic fainted.
If you're not sure what a 710 is

PULTE STOCK

Thank God 2011 is done.

The quest for retirement riches continues as we will again watch our builder's Stock. We are almost out of red ink so that must mean the turn around is near.

The original purchase was in 2009, and the base price was  $6.47

At the end of this month it is:  $6.31

THE GIRL WITH THE HAT WASN"T ALONE GETTING CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

The KID up "North" was proud enough to send a picture of her brand new hat, but the gang in the South also was ready to get a picture or two with their Christmas presents. We took a ton of gifts over to their home in our Christmas Sleigh. Wow they were really glad to see us !

Above are a couple shots of the kids, and a rare picture of both their Mom and Aunt. They are difficult to get together for a picture, except this time of year. HallelujahAnother Merry Christmas.

GEE A HAT, JUST WHAT I WAS DREAMING ABOUT FOR CHRISTMAS

Wow !  I think I know how this kid feels. A hat for Christmas. Just what She wanted, and She has plenty of time to grow into it. Her parents really plan well.

Maybe if She keeps smiling her Mom and Dad might get her a REAL present !!!

CHRISTMAS - 2011

After Days of Work we are finally ready to celebrate Christmas.

We started before Thanksgiving!!!  My Queen started early with the usual: "I don't know what to get this one or that one;"  and  "When can we go buy a new tree?"

I was into it too. I wondered: "What kind of pie are you going to make;"  "Who is coming for Dinner;" and "Is there a football game on?"

All that preparation is now concluded.  Peace On Earth

Plus there are 500 lights on the new Christmas Tree.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS - BAH HUMBUG

A friend shared an opinion with us on the subject of "Political Correctness."  The timing of this thought is certainly appropriate as  two major religious holidays are coming up quick.

Below is the thought for your review:
.....................................

More and more each year people seem to shy away from saying those traditional greetings that reflect on the holidays. They do this because of the need to be "politically correct," and to not offend some third party.

Decent people respect each other and their religions.  That respect carried this Country forward for a couple hundred years without a problem.

Today there exists pressure to make sure all interaction between groups is proper, correct and not offensive. The fact is that this effort itself - is offensive.

Isn't it much easier to skip the politics and simply say:  Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukah.

This is the season for those greetings to be remembered and honored
