THE USUAL QUESTION: "CAN YOU JUST WATCH THE KIDS FOR A WHILE?"
Even in the heat of Summer that call is often heard: "Can you Babysit?"
I thought we should maybe check with the Library and get a good book on "Excuses." Of course that will never happen.
We got called into duty once again the other day. The kids were pretty good and someone enjoyed taking a couple of pictures just to share with our friends and neighbors.

4TH OF JULY
This is always a great Day. Lots of People, Food, and Drink.
We squeezed a little bit of everything into one big day. That means a little Beach in the morning, then some Hamburgers in the afternoon, and a Loud Celebration at night.
A good size group from the community ventured to Tin City where The Lady Brett was taken to view the fireworks from the Gulf. It had been a long time since our last celebration in a Boat during an evening event so this was special.
Not only was the Sunset spectacular, but the Fireworks were awesome. What a difference a view from the water makes. The City Police were on hand to make sure everyone stayed safe - a good idea.
Hope you enjoy the pictures

KO-WRECK-SHUNS
That is an "S" in the above word. There are two errors that have been called to our attention.
One - The event on July 9 at Rick's Place is not a Cocktail Party. It is a Buffet. Drinks are not included. This should still be a nice event especially with our friend Jersey Joe doing the entertainment.
Two - Pepperoni should be spelled as it is here. It was spelled previously with a "P" missing, but that has been fixed.
Thanks Teacher !!!

SEVEN DOLLAR BARGAIN
It was time for one of the Community's favorite dances on Saturday. That would be the Seven Dollar Dance.
We did the same as usual. Dressed up and brought food. The food part is always the main ingredient for our fun, and it was no different this time. The "Old Guy" at our table certainly got his fill with the variety of cheeses, pepperoni, etc
The highlight for one of the gang was making a new acquaintance. We met a wonderful young Lady from across the pond. We shared conversation about touring, and also learned we share some identical reading interests.
Yes Saturday was the usual Seven Dollar Dance thing - A Great Night Out. It was especially fun because our grand daughter was visiting and attended the event with us.

NAPLES PIER
The Grand daughter arrived on Wednesday, and it seems she wants maximum Beach Time We found an opportunity a day or so and visited the Naples Pier.
This is a great location. The Beach was packed. The Water felt cool and we all had a great time.
The guy with the camera had to take Gram's picture with Miss Cassi. It was almost a perfect shot from the Beach, when someone walked into the picture. Darn. Anyway that is my Queen on the right, and Cassidy on the left.

JULY DATES TO REMEMBER
Well it is the middle of the year. I got the first half, I think correct, regarding birthdays and anniversaries. With age a little help is appreciated.
I should do OK this month because Social Security sent me a "heads up" on someones' special birthday.
I won't forget it, but no comment will be made about age. Look around that lucky number 11 for a comment. I guess that is all I have to note for JULY.
